| Indian Grilled Fish Recipe |
- 28 ounce Halibut
- 3 small onion
- 3 sweet peppers of different colors
- 2 lemon
- cup oil
- Marinade
- 2 cups yogurt
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion (red), finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely grate
- 0,8 inches ginger root, finely grate
- 2 tbsp garam masala (Indian spice blend)
- 2 tbsp black pepper, ground
- Salt – to taste
- For the sauce
- 1 1/2 cups yogurt
- 1 medium cucumber
- Cilantro, a few sprigs
- Prepare the marinade. Combine onion, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and yogurt in a large bowl and mix well. Add the spices and salt.
- Cut the fish in the 20-24 slices, mix with the marinade. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes (poultry to marinate for 1 hour). Peel and dice the onion to a similar size as of fish. Peel and dice the sweet peppers to a similar size as of fish.
- Prepare sauce. Blend the yogurt with finely chopped cucumber and cilantro.
- Put fish, onions and pepper on skewers. Heat the grill very high. Oil a grill. Cook it for around 12 minutes.
- Serve with sauce and sliced lemon.
